Admin Assistant in Los Angeles
If you are currently an admin assistant but want to take it to the next level, this is the perfect job for you. For this position, the typical administrative tasks are expected but you will also be in a “coordinator” type of position where you will work with a sales manager to ensure that projects are completed, and all material and labor is billed accordingly. You will be the “go-to” person for many projects.
As the company is a smaller start-up, each individual employee is highly valuable to the daily operations of the company. We are a young and fast paced company with lots of potential for advancement for the right individual.
Responsibilities:
•Start work at 9am or 9:30am everyday
•Communicating with and managing foreman
•Ensure all materials needed are in stock
•Make sure all projects labor and materials are in its correct place so it can be filed and billed.
•Updating manager with day’s work
•Schedule appointments
*Produce purchase orders, invoices, etc.
•Answer and screen phone calls using excellent phone etiquette
•Providing administrative assistance to management
•Use discretion and independent judgment in making decisions
•Other duties as assigned
The ideal candidate will have:
•Excellent organizational and administrative skills
•Be results oriented, and resourceful
•Ability to pay attention to detail
•Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
•Professional demeanor
•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
•Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook; Internet Savvy
•Ability to multi-task, prioritizes appropriately, and meets deadlines
•Willingness to pitch in where needed
Bilingual Spanish is a plus!
BA/BS or AA Degree preferred but not required

Pay:
Looking to start someone between $10-13 hourly. We know this is a little on the low side, but we are a young company and we have to keep expenses down. If you are a good fit and can coordinate projects we will adjust your pay accordingly.
